Silly question but to take driving lessons in the UK on public roads you must must be at least 17. You must hold a UK provisional driving licence before you are allowed to drive on public roads. We suggest that you apply for your provisional licence a few weeks before your 17th birthday, just in case there is a delay with processing your application.
